Lalit Morjaria<\/strong> has been a watchmaker for 35 years, and has worked at companies such as Eternamatic, Bulova, Omega and Rolex, and is currently an independent. He followed his father into the trade and was trained in Switzerland.\n

He has been teaching at EFHC for a number of years, and particularly enjoys watching novices become more skilled.Lalit has organised a Club trip to Switzerland which include training at the Ronda factory as well as visits to some top flight Watch Houses.His favourite watch brands are Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, and IWC.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

David Rawlings<\/strong>\u00a0 joined the Centre in February 2016. David completed an apprenticeship in clock making and repair and has been involved in the clock trade for over 50 years. \u00a0For some years he was a tutor at Hackney College and still repairs clocks. His special interest is in antique clocks.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Barley<\/strong> first had an interest in clocks and watches when a boy taking his first watch to pieces when it stopped. His interest remained but was not pursued until later in life. Wanting to know more and even more importantly how to properly see how watches and clocks worked he joined the then Epping Forest Horology Club<\/p>\n

After attending both watch and clock classes he took the British Horological Institute\u2019s distance learning course and thence became a member of the Institute. He has worked in a clock repairing workshop repairing a wide range of customer\u2019s clocks with a particular interest in repeating carriage clocks and electric clocks.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
