I started repairing clocks at the age of 12 as a hobby with the help of a family friend who took a young boy under his wing.
Upon leaving school I attended Hackney Technical College in 1992 and took the two year full time course for Technical Horology. I achieved 3 diplomas. In 1994 I was granted a 3 year apprenticeship by the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, approved by George Daniels after two interviews with him.
I now own and run my own business which is an old fashioned Jewellers and clock/watch repairers in Barnet. I did intend to be a clockmaker first and foremost but running your own business means that some time we have to make sacrifices, and the majority of my time is now spent on Watchmaking
I am a Fellow of the British Horological institute, Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and also a member of the Clock and Watchmakers’ Guild.
